Fundraising for Parkinsons UK

During November and December members of the club and the local community have come together to raise funds for Parkinsons UK. In that time over £800 has been raised for the charity through a Coffee Morning, Crib Night and Raffle. A massive thank you to everyone who organised and supported the events.

Round Up of the 2023 Season

The club’s Centenary Season was memorable in so many ways. Starting with the celebration match against Bowls England in May and ending with three days of club finals in September. The club was very successful on the Green. The men’s Red Team won the Salisbury and District League and were runners up in the Herbie Turner Competition. Club members won the Salisbury and District Men’s Pairs, were Runners Up in the Salisbury and District Men’s Singles, Men’s Pairs and Men’s Triples. Quite a feat. Our Ladies Team was able to field three Triples for all S&D Competitions and had some memorable wins against tough opposition.

We are very grateful for the generosity and support of our sponsors, including The Reg and Redrow

Club Committee 2023-2024

Following a plethora of new members being appointed in 2022, prior to the start of our Centenary year, our committee for 2023-2024 remains virtually unchanged. This will give the incumbents the chance to settle into their roles and focus on ideas for the further growing of the club.
