Saturday saw the Club welcome the Ladies Teams from Hampshire and Berkshire in their Southern Region knockout round of the Johns Trophy (National Ladies County Competition). It was a great day and the Gods of Good Fortune kindly held off the worst of the rain and even allowed a little sunshine in. It was great atmosphere with lots of good banter and plenty of support for both teams. Berkshire started well and then the cheerleading from Hampshire support cheerleaders must have kicked in as Hampshire began to claw back the points and ends, triumphing at 18 ends. Good luck in the next round and hopefully we will hear that you have made it to Leamington. Thank you to all PVBC volunteers for helping to make it a very successful day. The green, as always, looked and performed superbly.
