After a lot of hard work, and with the support of our members, Bowls Big Weekend has ended on a high for Pewsey Vale Bowls Club. Glorious weather and lots of publicity locally and on national radio and TV brought 39 visitors to the club for trial sessions with our coaches, Caroline, Gerry and Keith. 9 have completed application forms and we expect more to arrive this week. Everyone enjoyed the 5 sessions held over the weekend for our visitors, and our members on and off the green were there to welcome newcomers. Lots of cake was served (can you ever have too much cake?), a few drinks and lots of friendly chat. Thanks to all who visited and all those who contributed to a very successful weekend.
