What a great start to the bowling season opening day on Saturday! The full complement of 48 players allowed over the two sessions was achieved. We had a winning pair each session, but we were all winners with the company and the sun. The winners of the morning session were Dennis Hawkins and Julia Connelly with an incredible shot difference of 23; and in the afternoon session Andrew Bachelor and John Sanderson won with a shot difference of 12. A very special thank you must go to Andy Tucker who provided both sets of winners with a bottle of wine and also provided the £1 that sat on top of the jack for the Spider game which was played before each session. Well done to everyone playing and helping out for making it a great day.
